Stimpson Christmas

I must admit I look forward to the Stimpson Christmas for months. It does not mean I do not look forward to all of our celebration but for the Stimpson Christmas I am spoiled. I have one of my favorite meals prepared for me, no clean up, am able to sleep in and the presents oh my I am spoiled rotten with the presents. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing no one rushing no one pushing no one late just an enjoyable time. This year was no different and the whole experience was wonderful and the cherry on top it was the first time it was held at my house my brand new beautiful house. This year was also special as the girls were old enough to have presents that we can really play with like pinkalicious roller skates, t-ball set, soccer net, little people nativity set, first season of Little House on the Prairie and a ball to bounce on and many more gifts. (told u were spoiled!) Now we get to plan for all of the next wonderful Christmases to come with tons of family and incredible food. I am even excited to say that my dad will be flying up to spend Christmas with us on Christmas day!

Coppe'lia

I have been excited for months to take Cahill and Alice to the ballet. Last year we watched Nutcracker and this year we went to Coppelia. It was a late night for all of us but beautifully done. 

Little House on the Prairie Party

Some of the books that Cahill adores are the littlest house on the prairie books. So when one of her new friends invited her to a LHOTP party I knew she would be in heaven. Ellie's grandma made bonnets and aprons for every one of the 10 little girls. We played so many games that I almost fell asleep on the way home. They even had a mercantile store set up with candy where the girls could buy candy with pennies. Thanks to all of the sweet girls we even witnessed an impromptu fashion show. Ashlynn had a blast playing with Ellie's little sister. 

Winter Wonderland

Down state they have this cute little Winter Wonderland set up at the fairgrounds inside. It is $10 per person (5 and under free) and the kids can ride as many rides as they want for free. This equals a tremendous amount of holiday friends with some fabulous cousins. The first picture is my favorite as it shows how sweet Tristen was with Ashlynn. He loved her and decided he was going to take care of her. The second photo gives everyone a glimpse of how much fun Cahill had on the rides and with Brooklyn. We did get out in time to see the train and they even let us on it to take a little bit of a tour so the girls were able to see what the inside of a train looks like.

Grandpa's Swing

After my family's Thanksgiving I took a day of relaxing and headed down to Saginaw to spend some time with the Stimpsons. I missed the big meal but was able to spend a little time with everyone before heading back. (I did have some incredible leftovers!) We went down because Kurt had to work all weekend and to take the girls to a winter wonderland they have down there at the fairgrounds. I thought it would be a blast for all 5 of the cousins to see the train and ride all the rides together. (will see pics in next post) I always stay with my in-laws when i visit and the girls are always in heaven. The weather was nice enough that we all were able to go play outside for a little bit. The girls had a blast with grandpa and the old swing.

Cousin Cuddles

Sometimes on the weekends Nathan will come over for a couple of hours to play with Cahill. They seem to be having more and more fun with each other each time. They have played hide and seek, performed races and played football. Today when he cam over we just did crafts all together while Ashlynn slept. But last week while they were playing outside nicely I peeked out and this is what I saw. So sweet she has a cousin to love her soooo much..

Playing with Daddy

One of the girls favorite things to do is wrestle with daddy and play Monster. I have no clue where the monster comes from but Ashy will point to dad and say Monster Monster with kinda of a gangster accent so it sounds like Monsta..So after dinner there is a lot of squealing going on as they run around the living room.

Potty Training

Well I can for sure say that I was incredibly blessed with Cahill when it came to potty training. I just put panties on her and she peed herself and she was trained. No accidents no problems and no attitude. Then along comes Ashlynn and she is going to give me a run for my money. After two days of training she was done and became an expert. I was super excited and threw a party for myself. But what I did not realize is that even though she is trained sometimes she just does not feel like making it to the potty. Oh Boy.. of course all accidents that have occured have happened on the couch yes the poor couch. So if you think about me this week say a little prayer that I survive..
