Cabin Christmas

The Cherry family always celebrates Christmas at a cabin in Interlochen  on Christmas Eve. (the cabin is Debbie's gift to everyone) The food as usual was amazing with a million different types of dips. Becky was so amazing and sweet making Cahill feel special and making sure there were gluten free options. Cahill was so happy to find out that Becky was gluten free also. Irma made some incredible irish cream liquor for everyone to take home. (will sneak in my coffee later on today) This year Raina and Debbie had a white elephant gift game. (super fun) To all of the family members who did not make it , we love you and miss you!!

Stimpson's Christmas

We love celebrating holidays with the Stimpson's and enjoying fun family time. Unfortunately due to Kurt's schedule we never get to celebrate Christmas with the whole family. But we have been so blessed as the past two years they have drove up here to celebrate with us. We had so much fun talking, opening presents, eating and sledding. (oh yeah Alice spoils us with gifts also!)

Winter Fun

The part two Monday's I have taken the girls ice skating and sledding after. One week we picked up the cousins and had a blast. Cahill enjoyed the skating and playing with her besties. Ashlynn cant quite decide if she likes skating or not. She skates well as long as i hang onto her but she hates the red bars. We are all excited to go back next Monday and play one more time before co op begins again.

Dad buried them both while he was shoveling.

snowmen

Today was the perfect weather to make snowpeople and forts. We had so much fun rolling balls around and jumping off them and sliding off them. We started a fort but Ashy had enough and begged to go inside.

As good as it gets

Well we did not take any family photos in 2013 so this is going to have to be it. Fake smiles, bad hair and crazy kids this is my everyday life..(except i have make-up on :) )

Thanksgiving with the Stimpsons

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving Stimpson style.  We celebrated with pumpkin pie, apple pie and pumpkin pie ice cream. All of the normal trimmings and the world's best squash. It was Cahill's first gluten free Thanksgiving so we included a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and the world's best baguettes by Against the Grain. We survived the holidays and are safely home excited to sleep in our own beds..Thank you Alice for all of your hard work to make this holiday special for all of us. We love you so much! What an incredible treat it is to go to someone's house who has prepared everything for you.
